South Bay Sites

I know Nestledown is probably out, but I think it would be fun to go see it. Plus, Here Comes the Guide says that site fees go from $3500 to $15000, so we could see what the cheap areas are.

Mountain Winery in Saratoga. Obviously a fancier feel, but really pretty grounds.

I'm pretty sure that this one is the one your parents didn't even get out at, but if we have time in Santa Cruz I'd kinda like to see it.

Very pretty flowers and meadowy area. Not wild about it otherwise.

I don't really see much more that I am very interested in.

More East Bay Sites to Check Out

So here's the Unitarian church. Found different views of it. No blue carpet, but seeing more pictures, not really as interested anymore.

K: I as well am not really feeling it. . . .

Not that excited by this one, but it's nicer than some. It's in Lafayette, though.

K: This one could be nice. The photo quality is bad, so it makes it hard to tell. Here are some possible drawbacks though: have to use the on site catering (and it starts at $85); if we want Saturday night, it's $3000 venue fee (or $1500 during the day); and the hours are a bit odd, the Saturday night wedding can't start til 6.

Kinda like some of the areas here, but wish there were more pictures. Probably fancier than I would want, but pretty.

K: I think I came across this place before. I like it and think it's pretty, but it's expensive, at $3500 for the venue. Plus, you don't even get to go inside the house. The event is all outside on the lawn. You have to pay extra to have photos with the wedding party inside the house. We can go look and see if we love it, since I do think it's really nice, just some of the rental details are weird.

Okay, I don't really feel like I need to see any of the above ones. There are many sites that are pretty, but at least from the pictures I don't get the feeling I want. I'd be up for looking at quite a few, and I can try to set up appointments, but don't know where I would want to go.

Tomorrow I WILL do more of the South Bay, but right now I'm exhausted from all the running around.
